February 16 Empty Cinema Halls and The Egg TheoryI was sleeping soundly in the morning when as usual my friends just needed to give me a morning call to remind me that I am supposed to hang out with them today. I ignored the morning call and went back to sleep. When I woke up, it was almost noon and thank god that my parents have not left the house as they were my only possible source of transport to K.L. today. At about 1.30 in the afternoon, I left home for K.L.. Reached Sg. Wang at about 2.30 and went over to BB Plaza to meet up with "supervisor" and lai. They were at Sek Hou restaurant - where we initially thought of having the gathering and that was before we went and have a look at this restaurant. So we ate lunch there. And waited for Sum's arrival. When Sum finally reached Times Square, we told him to walk over to KL Plaza cause "supervisor" wanted to go check out a pants in the FOS there. Well, with direction helps from my brother, we walked over to KL Plaza and found FOS at the opposite end of the entrance. Our "supervisor" could not find the pants he wanted so we had a walk in Lot 10 and Star Hill before deciding to go to Mid Valley. After that we went to Sg.Wang's Popular to buy a few items. And walked all the way to Times Square cause there was where "supervisor" parked his car. So we got in the car and "supervisor" piu yi in the car park. >< Haha. But all Lai and I heard was the screeching of the tyres. A little jam on the roads but we reached MV without getting lost. We bought tickets for House of Mahjong. Lai PPP-ed for a while. "Supervisor" went for a little shopping. Then at 6.45 we went in the cinema. Our movie was screening in hall 2. We walked in and found the hall empty. Not a single soul in there other then us. The screens were blank. Gee! Then we took our seats and a preview for the movie "Chermin" played on the screens. Wah liao~ Scary!!! Just the 4 of us in a dark cinema hall with a preview of a horror movie on screens. T-T After that a few people came in the hall also. Then watched the movie. After movie we followed "supervisor" for a little shopping. Then went all the way to the lowest floor to pay the car park when the person said, "Masa keluar baru pergi." Zha dao~ Then we went back to the highest floor and went to the car park. Found the car, got in and went to Tmn Mutiara Barat 1. Ate steamboat there. After eating, we had an extra egg. "Supervisor" challenged us saying that , "Who can break the egg by squeezing with your palms *or something like that*, I'll give you 50 bucks." So whatever the egg theory thingie was about, Sum tried. He squeezed it for the first time with his left hand - unable to break it. He then tried it with his right hand. "Supervisor" was so confident that it will not break when SUDDENLY we heard *CRACK* and egg white flew at east direction and the egg's yolk flew to "supervisor"'s hair and a waiter who was passing by. Lai and I could not help but laugh. "Supervisor" then claimed that Sum did it the wrong way and if he did it the right way, the egg will not break. Ah~ something like that. Haha. And Sum did NOT get his 50 bucks at the end. After dinner, "supervisor" fetched us back. Yay! And have to wake up early tomorrow cause we miss SSM so much that we want to go back for breakfast. Crazy students. Right. That's all for tonight. Ciao~ February 14 Valentine's!As soon as the clock ticked 12 midnight, it was Valentine's Day. And I was in a car with 3 other people on our way to Old Town to yum cha. Sum (the driver), Lik Wai (the "supervisor"), and Lai. We wished each other with really lame 'Happy Valentine's Day's. Reached Old Town and sat on the 2nd floor. Ordered drinks and food. Realized our seats really sucked. Changed our seats to the ones at the balcony. And started talking crap. All Lik Wai managed to crap about was he being a supervisor. *IF he don't screw up the job interview and they hire him.* After crapping about this and that... It was already 1 a.m.. Then the waiter came with the bill. "Supervisor" paid him a RM50 note and waited hell long for it's change. Smart-ass "supervisor" then told the waiter, "You haven't give me my change." And the waiter answered, "Huh?" "Supervisor" repeated the sentence, "You haven't give me my change." The waiter answered a "Ah." this time. "Supervisor" again said, "My change, you haven't give them to me." And the waiter said, "Ya." >.>" Haha. Weird. Finally, the waiter understood that our "supervisor" wanted his change and brought it to him. We sorted out the money and we wrote a "To Old Town, Happy 'single' Valentine's!" on a paper and left it on the table. Wonder whether the workers actually read it. After yum cha-ing, we went home. Glad I managed to come home alive. That proves that Sum's driving skills are actually not bad. ^^ Then online and chat a little. Sleep. Woke up. Ate brunch. Painted the house. Watched TV. Went to pasar malam. Eat dinner. Online. And going to bed later. = = Lame Valentine's. Haha. Anyways, to you people out there...
"Happy Valentine's Day!" Hope you enjoyed it more than I did. XD February 01 Back To Back Leisure Mall Outing. ><This post came one week late due to some problems I had with Windows Live Spaces. As usual, my posts are always about outings I have with friends. Shortly said, about My Life. Well, so this post goes back to one week before...
After downloading and watching Death Note 1, I could not wait to watch Death Note 2. Unfortunately, that excitement of mine died when the Death Note 2 available for downloads were either a really unclear version or without subtitles. My only choice was to wait until it comes on our local screens. And then came a free Thursday night, one with no plans at all. Mun Sum, Kah Hoe and I... The threesome who were dying to watch Death Note 2 decided to watch it at the nearest cinema. And that would be none other than Leisure Mall's GSC. Kah Hoe had to work until 4 in the afternoon. Therefore, our initial plan was Kah Hoe go over to Sum's place after work and then Sum's mum pick me up on the way to Leisure. The plan WILL go smoothly and we will reach Leisure in time for the 6 o'clock Death Note 2. And after that, we'll go over to Mamak Stall and eat dinner (Kah Hoe's treat). Well, yeah. Sounds good. But thanks to the Sum and Kah Hoe (god knows what took them so long. hell don't know what they were doing back at Sum's place), they left house at about 5.45 in the evening. And picked me up at 6 o'clcok. I got in the car and a box of Kenny Roger's Muffin welcomed me! *WAH!! THANK YOU KAH HOE!* :P ANyways, there goes our 6 o'clock movie. = = So change of plan, like always. ><" We bought tickets for the 7.50p.m. Death Note 2. Accompanied Kah Hoe to the hair saloon outside of Leisure Mall to have his hair cut (Sum said his hair looked longer after the hair cut. --"). After that was done, we went to the Japanese restaurant near the cinema. My really "POWERFUL" memory of mine did not allow me to remember the restaurant's name. XD Anyway, Kah Hoe's treat. Ordered 2 bento sets and a bowl of rice. We 3 shared the 2 bentos. While eating, we crapped a lot. And wow! Time flew! It was already 7.40 by then. We left the restaurant and bought a large Ice Lemon Tea and went watch the movie. Entertaining, good movie. So "WA LAO EH!!!" If you have not watch it, you better watch it soon. ^^ After the movie, it was 11 already. My bro came and fetch me while Sum and Kah Hoe took a cab back with the unfinished Large Iced Lemon Tea we bought.
After a few hours sleep, we woke up in the morning just to remember that "HEY! I'm going to Leisure AGAIN!" >.>" Lame. But before that, we went to school for breakfast. Haha. Boy, SSM has one of the best Nasi Lemaks around. :P DJ, Ping, Sum, Kah Hoe, Lik Wai, Lai, Mun, Cheng and I gathered in school. Makan breakfast. After that, DJ went back to work while Wei Ping went to college. The rest of the guys went over to Sum's place as Kah Hoe insist on having his shirt changed. While the girls and I took a taxi to Leisure. We went to Neway and waited like soh pohs outside its door as it was not even opened yet. >.>" After they open, we booked a room at 12o'clock. Went to arcade for a round of Photo Hunt. The guys reached and we bought tickets for Epic Movie. And at 12, we went for karaoke. After that we walk walk, talk talk and w00t~ time for movie. We were looking forward to watching Epic Movie. The trailer was funny. Well, we left the cinema with a little disappointment. The movie was short and... I don't know. Maybe our expectations were a little too high? But the movie was not worth wasting our 9 bucks. ><" After movie, Cheng and I took the bus back home. The rest went home by... either a bus or taxi. Not that anyone actually care. XD January 19 A Friday Spent in Leisure MALL.Lai's off day is on Fridays. So we thought all night for a place to spend our Friday. From playing mahjong to baking cakes. But none of the plans felt right. At the end, we settled with 'Go to Leisure' plan. Initially, the planwas waking up early then Lik Wai will fetch us to Leisure at 9.30. Sing karaoke. Watch movie. And go home. Unfortunately, he did not have a car to fetch us. Therefore, change of plans.
Woke up at 9 and send Lai a sms to confirm about the latest plans. Then realized that my eyes are still closed, so went back to bed. Mun called my handphone and greeted me with a very loud "WAKE UPPPP!" With all my awake energy, I managed a "Huh?" out of my mouth. >< Then she kept saying... "Wake up! Wake up!" I finally woke up and unwillingly discussed a little about the outing and went back to sleep. At 11, I managed to dragged myself out of bed and into the bathroom. Bath and felt fresh. Feeling awake, I went downstrairs to eat brunch with my parents. While we were eating, I asked my mum if she is willing to drive me to Leisure and she with a very forceful tone, agreed. ^^ After brunch, mum fetched Cheng and I to 'Foon Hei Tei', a restaurant outside Leisure. Chit-chatted there with Lai, Mun, Sum, Ko Wei and Lik Wai. After that, we went over to the Kodak shop a few blocks away as Lai needed to snap Passport size photos for working reasons. Done with the photo and into Leisure we went. Haha. We bought tickets for the 3.10's 'Happy Birthday' Movie. RM7 a ticket. Hehe. After that we jalan sini, jalan sana... played in the arcade. At 3, we went to the cinema and bought drinks and snacks. Then watched the movie. The movie was slow but touching. If you're into sad love stories, 'Happy Birthday' might be good. The movie lasted for... 1 Hour and 55 Minutes. After the movie which was at 5, we went to Wong Kok Char Chan Teng. Ate its Chocolate fondue (Thank you mun sum). Haha. That Ko Wei... Ate like he was the only one paying for it. Then he crap hell lot. >< *Ko Wei, I'm purposely writing this because I know you'll read it.* Then he go order Ying Yong tea and said it was not nice. Jatuh standard. Pif! Haha... Then paid the bill and balik rumah.
Ah. Super tired today. Hahaha... Well, That's all. Ciao~ January 18 Breakfast.17th January, Wednesday - If you know us well, you should know that we are people with nothing better to do. Aih... went all the way to school this morning just for it's breakfast. Sum, Lai and I reached school at 8 something. Nothing better to do. Just wanted to eat school's food. So went to school and sat at the canteen. Ate sausages all then sat and talk while we wait for the Nasi Lemak uncle to come. Then he came, the long waited Nasi Lemak... Haha. Bought and eat. Taste so nice. Brings back memories. Went back at 11.15. Came home then my parents asked... "Why you went to school?" Then I just said... "For its breakfast." And they were like... "Crazy. Nothing better to do?" >< A very long time ago, I would have given anything to skip school. Yet now, I would have given everything to go to school. Geez.
At night had dinner at Uncle Aaron's place. Uncle Gabriel (uncle who just came back from Australia. a very good chef.) cooked. Wah lau eh! The food really delicious. Had a very sumptous meal. Played ping pong. Then went home. And now, I'm off to watch T.V. Hehe... Ciao! January 13 Kung Fu Mah Jong 3!Ever since January 4th, we have been wanting to watch Kung Fu Mah Jong 3. For the past one week, we have been pretty occupied so we did not have the time to watch the movie. However, we were free on Friday. So we went to Mid Valley to watch the movie. This was how the day went... Woke up at 11 in the morning and cursed my handphone for switching off automatically causing me to miss my alarm. Took my bath and ate brunch with my parents. Somehow, I did not have the apetite to eat the mee which was on the kitchen table. Anyways, Dad fetched me to Mid Valley and I reached there at 1 or 1.30 in the afternoon. Walked around and went to the arcade. Met Q and Khai there. The Lai, Sum, Ting and Seng (Ting and Seng slept over at Sum's place) reached and met up with us in the arcade. Lai, as usual, played PPP. Seng, Ting, Sum, Khai and I played Photo Hunt. Tried to break the high score record but only managed to get 4th placing. On the other hand, Lai managed to somehow get 1st placing in the PPP machine. Then Lai and I went to take photos in Jusco while the guys continue arcading. After arcade, we bought tickets for the 7.30 (in the evening) Kung Fu Mah Jong 3 movie. Then went for lunch. Q, Khai, Sum, Lai and I ate 1901 hotdog. Seng and Ting tak tau pergi mana. After that, we went to play pool. 2 tables. Played for 2 hours. Kah Hoe finished work and came join us. After pool, went in the arcade for a while. Lai played on more round of PPP and got 3rd placing (Her earlier 1st placing dropped to 5th). Then we went and check the Karaoke centre there and saw its really expensive price so we just sat and hang out outside California Fitness centre. Aih... Then they gila again. Inserted a coin in those kiddy ride and sat in it. =______= Then some passerby stared and laughed at them. Felt embarrased then came out of that ride. Lai and I went in Toy City and look around. When we came out we saw the guys sitting on the Merry-Go-Round for KIDS. Then I also naik gila and sat with them. Haha. Sat there and chit-chatted for a while. At 7.10p.m., we went to the cinema and bought drinks and popcorn. Then went in and watched the movie. The movie was... FUNNY! Haha... If you're into comedy then you have to watch it. Movie was one and a half hour only. And we were supposed to eat dinner together. But my parents came and I went for dinner with them. And what happened to the rest, I do not know. Haha. After dinner, balik rumah! |
